Argentine president Cristina de Kirchner has in her hands the possibility of guaranteeing sovereignty of the country in more than 5 million square kilometres of sea layer. Only twelve months lie ahead to submit data before the UN, which will set the limits of Argentina's continental shelf. Such move entails touching the nerve of clash over Malvinas Islands.
