Argentina to use CB reserves to meet 2010 debt payments

Economy Minister Amado Boudou announced the government will create the "Bicentennial Fund", which will be financed with 33 percent of the Central Bank reserves ($ 18 billion).

Around $ 6.5 billion will be allocated to the National Treasury, according to the official information.

"The measure aims to dismiss any uncertainty in connection to Argentina's payment capacity," Boudou added during a press conference held at the Government House.
