Brazil's Bovepa falls 1.2%

The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance declined 1.2 percent to 70,367.13 points.
It has gained 2.6 percent so far in the current year.

Meanwhile, the American dollar rose 0.3 percent to R$1.724 on the local spot market.
