Car production rises 37.8% in September

National car production registered a 37.8 percent increase in September year-on-year and climbed 3.3 percent compared to the previous month, the Argentine Automakers Association (ADEFA) reported.

Exports zoomed 17.7 percent compared to August, and 37.1 percent year-on-year. The sector accumulated a 49.7 percent increase during the first nine months of 2010 compared to the volume reported in the same period in 2009.
