The Argentine presidential couple, Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, delivered a speech before more than 500 businessmen and lobbyists. The First Lady criticized Argentine banks for having financed the State during the 90's and for having forced an interest rate hike. She did not stop there: the presidential candidate accused them of failing to grant credits for investment and of just financing consumption. Moreover, Cristina admitted Argentina was going through an energy crisis, which current administration has been denying so far.
