Mala praxis

Portada en Ingles

Argentine economy minister Martín Lousteau has admitted on Monday that the country has financing problems. Yet, he hided behind current drawbacks hitting the entire region.

It's already well-known that the aide is seeking a bailout from the Inter-American Development Bank (obviously, he doesn't use that word, though it's similar), reason why he asks gaining access to loans for the amount of $8 billions in four years time.

It's not taken into account that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) lent Argentina at a lower rate, nearly two points less. Neither the hurried total debt payment to such organization back in December 2005.

The 80 per cent of what was paid to IMF is now been asked to IDB. Another case of mala praxis as far as economy is concerned.
