Merval edges down

The panel of leading stocks index edged down 1.7 percent to 3,505.68 points.

The Boden 2015 bond dropped 0.8 percent; the peso-denominated Discount bond, 1.9 percent and the dollar-denominated Par bond, 3.4 percent.

Argentina's country-risk meanwhile increased 2.3 percent to 525 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
