UIA: "Argentina expected to grow between 3% and 5% next year"

Héctor Méndez, the President of the Argentine Industrial Union, today said the local industrial activity is expected to grow "between 3% and 5% in 2010".

"We commit ourselves to accompanying the process of growth in the country", Méndez said after inaugurating the 15^th Argentine Industrial Conference, "The hour of basic consensus", in Sheraton Pilar Hotel .

Mendez considered that one of the main future challenges is "decreasing interest rates, so companies can get into debt and continue developing their productive activity."
