Wages increase 1.6 % in private sector

The INDEC National Statistics Bureau reported average registered salaries in the private formal sector increased 1.6 percent; 4.1 percent in the informal sector in January compared to the previous month.

Wages in every sector posted an average increase of 1.8 percent during the same period, according to official data.

Wages zoomed 0.4 percent in the public sector during the same period, according to INDEC.
