Italian bondholders say bill is irrelevant

A statement released on Thursday by a group of Italian associations pointed out that the bill signed by Argentina's President Nestor Kirchner preventing the reopening of the exchange process has no relevance in terms of international law.

Codacons, Adusbef, Federconsumatori and Adoc said that Kirchner may decide as he wishes in Argentina but that he cannot make fun of the world's savers by adopting measures that have no relevance in terms of international law.
