Globos de Oro 2021: estos son los nominados

El drama de época de Hollywood" Mank" y la sátira sobre el #MeToo "Promising Young Woman" estuvieron entre las nominaciones cinematográficas a los premios Globos de Oro 2021, mientras que los programas de televisión "The Crown" y "The Mandalorian" competirán por el galardón a la mejor serie.

La competencia por los premios al mejor drama cinematográfico incluirá también "Nomadland", "The Trial of the Chicago 7" y "The Father". La sátira "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm", la versión cinematográfica del éxito musical de Broadway "Hamilton", "The Prom", "Music" y "Palm Springs" competirán en una categoría separada para musicales y comedias.

Tres de los cinco directores nominados fueron mujeres, entre ellas Regina King por el drama negro "One Night in Miami", la británica Emerald Fennell por "Promising Young Woman" y la cineasta de origen chino Chloe Zhao por "Nomadland".

Entre los actores nominados estuvieron Baron Cohen por "Borat", el fallecido Chadwick Boseman por su último papel en la película de época sobre jazz "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom", el actor británico Riz Ahmed como un baterista que pierde el oído en "Sound of Metal" y Frances McDormand en "Nomadland".

Los Globos de Oro, que dan inicio a la temporada de premios de Hollywood en tiempos de pandemia, se entregarán el 28 de febrero en una ceremonia conducida por las actrices Tina Fey y Amy Poehler. Los nominados y ganadores son elegidos por la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA, por su sigla en inglés).
