According to Argentine Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC), unemployment has settled at 8.5 per cent during the second quarter of 2007, quite below 2006's 10.4 per cent. The cities posting the highest figures were Rosario (11.2 per cent), Catamarca (11 per cent) and Mar del Plata (10.9 per cent).
