Argentine Economy Minister, Miguel Peirano, has announced that August primary surplus has jumped to ARG$2.71 billions, which represents a 23.1-per cent rise with respect to the same month of 2006. Surplus accumulated during the first eight months of the year settles at ARG$19.61 billions, 16.2 per cent up against the same period of 2006.
