Businessmen prefer Lavagna

By Liliana Franco, Pablo Jiménez and Diego González.-. Roberto Lavagna was chosen as best economy minister since the return to democracy in 1983, according to a survey conducted by Ambito.com in the IDEA 45º Annual Colloquy.

Lavagna obtained 51 percent of the votes, followed by Domingo Cavallo's performance (38 percent) during Menem's administration.


Economist Roque Fernández meanwhile hit third place at the opinion poll with 4.2 percent.

Surprisingly, Alfonsín's economy minister, Juan Vital Sourrouille, obtained the fourth place (3 percent) among within the businessmen surveyed in the colloquy.
